The world of fashion accessories is evolving — moving away from mass-produced sameness and embracing handcrafted creations that carry meaning, culture, and personal stories. At Bow Lab, every bow, sunglass frame, and accessory is more than just style — it’s wearable art that celebrates creativity, culture, and confidence.
From Passion to a Movement:

Bow Lab was founded in 2022 by Himani Kapadiya, later joined by her husband Jugal Kapadiya. What began as a late-night hobby after a 9-to-5 job quickly turned into a leap of faith. Himani chose to leave her corporate role to pursue her creative calling — transforming a personal passion into a growing brand.
The early months were filled with defining moments. In just the third month, Bow Lab received its first bulk order of 52 personalized name bows. Packing those bows late into the night became more than work — it was the moment Himani realized her art could build a business.
The Breakthrough: Navratri 2024:

The defining breakthrough came in 2024, when Bow Lab launched its first Navratri-inspired collection. Designed with traditional prints, festive colors, and cultural motifs, the collection struck a chord with women across India.
The response was overwhelming — the signature bows sold out within days, forcing the team to re-source fabrics, introduce new designs, and manage stock shortages. What started as a seasonal experiment quickly established Bow Lab as a brand capable of turning India’s festivals into wearable, everyday luxury.
The festive success also created a digital wave. Two reels from the collection went organically viral, crossing 800k and 650k views on Instagram — a moment that proved the brand’s creative spark could resonate without paid pushes. Soon after, influencer Ria Amin (1.3M+ followers) collaborated on a barter basis, and her reel featuring Bow Lab’s bows crossed 3 million views, placing the brand firmly in the spotlight.

Navratri also marked Bow Lab’s global leap. In just one month, the brand shipped 40+ international orders, showcasing how Indian-inspired handmade designs could find love across borders.
Beyond Digital: Taking Creativity Offline:
While social media helped Bowlab grow, the brand also made its mark offline.
● At a birthday party in Mumbai, Bowlab hosted a live stall, crafting personalized name bows for girls and bow ties for boys — turning fashion into an experience for kids and parents alike.
● The brand has also participated in exhibitions across Gujarat, including Ahmedabad, Vadodara, and Surat, where customers could touch, feel, and instantly fall in love with the handmade quality of each piece.
These moments helped strengthen Bowlab’s community presence while showcasing the personal, interactive, and joyful nature of the brand.
Crafting Uniqueness in Every Piece:

At the heart of Bowlab lies a commitment to originality and craftsmanship. Every bow is
handmade in-house, featuring a signature structured design that sets it apart from mass
imports. The collections span across:
● Playful kids’ bows
● Quirky custom sunglasses
● Festive statement pieces
● Everyday casual styles
Each piece reflects Bowlab’s philosophy of being proudly Made in India while blending cultural depth with modern elegance.
A Mission Beyond Fashion:

For Himani, Bowlab is about more than accessories — it’s about empowerment through creativity. Inspired by her mother’s entrepreneurial and artistic spirit, she turned personal setbacks into a drive to create opportunities with her own hands.
Bowlab’s mission is to inspire women and girls to transform their creativity into confidence — and even livelihood. Every bow carries this dream forward: blending tradition, trend, and heart into a form of expression.
Looking Ahead:

In just over two years, Bowlab has served 7,500+ customers across India and abroad, proving that handmade design can resonate globally. Over the next five years, Himani and Jugal envision Bowlab as a go-to handcrafted luxury accessory brand, rooted in Indian culture yet reaching wardrobes worldwide.
For Bowlab, each creation is more than an accessory — it’s a piece of tradition, a spark of creativity, and a story waiting to be worn.
