Officially Launched on March 1, 2024, Meow Manor is more than just a cat boarding and daycare facility; it’s a haven where feline friends receive top-notch care and attention.
Theprimary aim is to provide a solution for cat owners faced with the challenge of caring for their pets while on vacation or during long work hours. Recognizing the scarcity of cat boarding facilities in the city, Meow Manor offers both overnight stays and daycare services to cater to the needs of busy cat owners. Whether it’s a day of work or home renovations causing stress for the feline companions, Meow Manor provides a safe and engaging environment for cats to spend their time away from home – a cat hotel, if you will!
From Idea To Inception
The inception of Meow Manor stems from the personal experiences of its founders. With 3 cats between them, vacations were always full of stress. Prior experience at the city’s boarding facilities left them all wanting more for their feline companions.
Trudy’s background in animal welfare and her frustration with the lack of trustworthy cat care options during her travels laid the groundwork for the venture. Priyanka, with her corporate background, resonated with the need for reliable and professional cat care, having faced similar challenges with her feline companion. Advaita’s expertise as a psychotherapist, coupled with her deep connection with animals, added a unique perspective to the team. Together, they recognized the gap in the market and seized the opportunity to create a solution.
Overcoming Hurdles
One of the initial hurdles Meow Manor faced was finding a suitable location for their facility. With strict criteria including ventilation, balcony space, and sufficient separations for cats, the search was exhaustive. However, their persistence paid off when they found the ideal space that met all their requirements while being easily accessible to their clientele. Mumbai Airport is a mere 4kms from Meow Manor.
Another significant challenge was sourcing staff who not only had a passion for animals but also shared their dedication to providing exceptional care. Finding individuals who understood the unique needs of cats and were committed to creating a nurturing environment was crucial. Despite the challenges, their commitment to quality ensured that every member of their team shared their vision.
